Dear Ray, Thank you for the training you delivered to the staff at Salisbury College. Having purchased a VLE (Edit: name removed) as a resource for the delivery of course material we were frustrated at the complexity of the resource, and to be honest our investment of £30,000 has been poor value for money. I had researched Moodle and this seemed ideal for our needs. Many colleges are taking up the Moodle option, but open source programmes are new to me and I didn't want to go down the road of discovering for myself how to load Moodle onto our network and then get to grips with how it all works. I just couldn't afford the time! It seemed to me that colleges who are using Moodle had spent a great deal of time getting their heads around how it works - and time is money. I found your company from a Yahoo search and was impressed immediately by the courteous and helpful attitude from yourself. I was given information that was helpful and supportive, but it was clear that in order to move things forward, the best approach was to buy in training. I could spend perhaps six months in a busy schedule to fully understand how to make Moodle work - or I could invest in a two day training course which would bring our skills up to an appropriate level. All I can say Ray, is that the course far exceeded my expectations. I know more than enough to begin building Moodle resources to entirely replace our Intranet, and I am confident that it will benefit Salisbury College hugely. As far as the course itself goes, you said at the outset that we would do a lot of Moodling and the two day course would cover a lot of content. I put my reputation on the line and was concerned that the investment would not pay off, but the end result exceeded my expectations.I would like to thank you personally because I know that the delegates will put into practise the skills you have taught and use them to enhance course delivery - Oftsed will like it too. As an educator, I was impressed with your delivery, and whilst the course was challenging and it demanded a fairly intense pace - all of the delegates came away with a sound ability to build resources for their own courses. You were able to keep everyone engaged and interested and at the end of the day, everyone learned a great deal and everyone was motivated.
