Welcome to the website of the UCS family of Schools (‘the Foundation’): The Phoenix (3-7yrs), the Junior Branch (7-11yrs) and the Senior School (11-18yrs). Our website is designed to provide information for prospective and current parents, pupils, members of staff and Old Gowers; please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you can’t find what you are looking for. In particular, if you are a prospective parent, may I recommend that you first find out a little bit more about the unique ethos that guides the schools in the UCS family, before browsing the site for details of the individual Schools within the foundation. UCS is at an exciting point in its life. With enviable academic success at all three Schools, a total commitment to the wider development of each pupil, a staff of dedicated, hard-working and professional teachers and non-teachers alike, and our ambitious and far-reaching plans for the development of the School, I have every confidence that UCS will continue to be a pace-setter, not a trend-follower.
